As the Christmas season approached, the compassionate team at HRS Rail LTD took a moment to reflect on the challenges faced by individuals in our community, particularly those under the care of The Caldecott Foundation. Nestled in the countryside of Ashford, Kent, The Caldecott Foundation has been a steadfast provider of specialized residential care, fostering families, and education for disadvantaged, vulnerable, and traumatised young people across the UK. The foundation’s primary goal is to offer these young individuals a secure sanctuary where they can develop meaningful relationships and find a sense of safety in their lives.
In light of the holiday season’s significance, HRS Rail LTD initiated a heartfelt endeavour. Departing from the traditional Secret Santa, the team rallied together to organise a fundraiser dedicated to enhancing the festive experience for the youth under the care of The Caldecott Foundation.
Through the team’s generosity and the funds raised, HRS Rail LTD had the privilege of selecting thoughtful gifts for the young residents of The Caldecott Foundation’s residential homes. Each gift was chosen with meticulous consideration, taking into account the unique preferences and wishes of every child. In an effort to instil independence and bolster confidence in the young individuals, the team also provided gift cards, allowing them to partake in the joy of selecting items that resonated with their personal tastes.
