At HRS Rail LTD, we are committed to supporting our local community. Recently, we had the opportunity to donate to Bilsington Therapeutic Stables’ fundraiser to purchase an adapted carriage. Bilsington Therapeutic Stables is a local charity that offers therapeutic sessions with horses to children, young people, and adults. We are proud to support their mission of providing a unique opportunity to work with horses within a therapeutic framework.
Bilsington Therapeutic Stables offers a range of services, including equine-assisted therapy, equine-facilitated learning, walk and talk therapy, herd walks, carriage riding, and traditional counselling. Their qualified counsellors work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, or historic trauma and offer an alternative to traditional counselling. Horses are known to be great partners in therapeutic work, and working with them can help regulate emotions and improve mood.
Our donation helped Bilsington Therapeutic Stables purchase an adapted carriage, which will enable them to offer carriage riding to clients with mobility issues. This will allow more people to benefit from the therapeutic work that Bilsington Therapeutic Stables offers. We are proud to support Bilsington Therapeutic Stables and their mission of providing therapeutic services to the community.
